The Houston Rockets have a bright future ahead of them as they have Christian Wood, Kevin Porter Jr., and the newly drafted Jalen Green on their team.

Wood has steadily been improving over the last three seasons. The Rockets forward plays with a chip on his shoulder after not hearing his name called upon in the 2015 NBA Draft

The Rockets big man is hardworking and is often seen at the gym. In a recent tweet, Wood warns his doubters and the rest of the NBA of what's in store for them.

Wood bounced around the league for quite a while before settling with the Rockets.

After constantly getting waived, the Detroit Pistons took a chance and gambled on Wood as they claimed him off waivers. The underrated big man eventually broke out averaging 13.1 points and 6.3 rebounds in his lone season with Detroit.

Wood was then shipped to the Rockets on a sign-and-trade deal that inked him to a 3-year $41 million contract. The 6'10 forward/center was one of the brighter sides on a lost Houston season as Wood had a career year. He averaged 21 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks while shooting 51.4% from the field and 37.4% from behind the arc.

The Rockets are a team worth watching as they currently have one of the most exciting young stars in Wood, KPJ, Green, Josh Christopher, and Alperen Sengun. They are invested in the future after trading away superstar James Harden last season.
