Houston Rockets star James Harden isn't panicking after Houston's opening night loss to the Milwaukee Bucks at home.

Harden had a night to forget. The Beard shot a woeful 2-of-13 from the field and had seven turnovers as well. As a team, the Rockets shot 36.7 percent from the floor and fell to the Bucks by a final score of 117-111.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Harden said the Rockets are “going to win a lot of games” and that once the team starts hitting their open shots, everything will be fine:

Harden and Russell Westbrook shot a combined 9-of-30 against the Bucks. Rockets guard Eric Gordon, normally a reliable three-point shooter, shot 3-of-12 from beyond the arc. You would expect Gordon to shoot the ball better moving forward.

As for Harden, odds are he's not going to shoot that awful again. The former MVP, who was a perfect 14-of-14 from the free-throw line, just couldn't find his shot against a stifling Bucks defense, led by point guard Eric Bledsoe and small forward Khris Middleton, who made things difficult for Harden all night.

The Rockets host the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday. Houston fans are hoping their team will find its shooting touch and get in the win column.
