The Houston Rockets have undeniably been one of the best and most entertaining teams in the NBA. That has been due in large part to the amazing contributions of James Harden, who currently the favorite to win this year's MVP award. Harden is averaging 31.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 8.9 assists this season and has the highest PER in the league at 30.5.

His incredible performances this year has led the Rockets to the best record in the NBA, over the likes of their Western Conference rival the Golden State Warriors. Against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night, the Rockets swiftly defeated them 105-92 after a phenomenal performance by Harden, who scored 25 points and dished out 7 assists in the win.

Perhaps the most electric play of the season was the crossover The Beard delivered to Wesley Johnson that sent him tumbling to the floor. In a move that mimicked a classic crossover on NBA 2K18, Harden disposed over Johnson, stared down at him, then effortlessly drained a 3-pointer while he was still on the ground. Though, if you look closer at the play from the baseline corner across from the Rockets' bench, you can see Harden literally lick his lips just after the staredown.

This play went viral within seconds, even resulting in a hilarious and savage edit to Johnson's Wikipedia page, which reads:

“Johnson died on February 28, 2018 after James Harden cooked him and put him in a body bag. He could not be rushed to a nearby hospital as his ankles were glued to the ground. Wesley's funeral will be held in the secret tunnel that Chris Paul used to get to the locker room.”

After becoming a victim of one of the most embarrassing plays in the NBA, it's fair to say that Johnson can't do anything, but just laugh it off.
