James Harden wasn’t immediately part of the raucous celebrations that ensued after Eric Gordon gave the Houston Rockets a dramatic road win over the Philadelphia 76ers with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer.

But it wasn’t because he was injured or throwing a fit; it was because he was still busy celebrating Gordon's game-winner on the floor, with his arms stretched out over his head.

It was James Harden who orchestrated the final play by getting the ball to Eric Gordon in the corner, and fell just before the Rockets' sniper was able to get the shot up. Harden watched Gordon's shot while he was seated on the floor, and when the ball went through the hoop as the buzzer sounded, he could only stretch his arms out in relief.

With both Trevor Ariza and Chris Paul out and the Sixers hanging tough, James Harden had work to do all game long. He played 39 minutes and finished with 27 points and 13 assists, with his last dime obviously his most crucial one.

It was a hard night’s work for James Harden, and he earned that moment to just lie down and soak in the Rockets' big win.
