The wide receiving duo of DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett is arguably the best in the NFL right now. Seattle Seahawks star quarterback Russell Wilson certainly thinks so, calling the studs two of the best receivers in the game.

Via Brady Henderson of ESPN:

“We have so many guys that can step up and step in, so many great players,” Wilson said. “But those two guys, arguably two of the best receivers in the game, in my opinion.”

Metcalf, who scored two touchdowns against the San Francisco 49yers on Sunday, also spoke about his chemistry with Lockett.

“Me and Tyler feed off of each other very well,” Metcalf said. “We don't care who gets the credit or who gets the shine one week because he has my back no matter what and I have his no matter what. Like I said, shout out to [David Moore] and Freddie [Swain]. They come up clutch every time they come into the game. It just speaks highly of our receiver room and the standard that we hold each other to.”

The 22-year old sophomore had perhaps the best game of his young career in their 37-27 wire-to-wire win over San Francisco. Metcalf is just a freak of nature and showcased his insane speed after this 46-yard catch from Wilson.

Lockett meanwhile, has been having some improbable catches over the course of the season – and he's making it seem like just another day in the office.

As for Wilson, he also had a great game in their victory over the 49ers. The 7-time Pro-Bowler threw four touchdown passes, two of which went to the 22-year old budding star in DK Metcalf.
