Below is the incident that occurred in the third quarter of Sunday's duel. Good thing that Saints cornerback Janoris Jenkins was nearby and stopped the scuffle from turning into an all-out brawl. Wims, who was ejected for his antics, was clapping while smiling before security brought him to the locker room.

After the game, Bears head coach Matt Nagy condemned Javon Wims' actions towards the Saints' safety. He pointed out that the wideout has since apologized.
“We talked to him and told him that's not how things go here,” Nagy said, per Jeff Dickerson of ESPN. “One of Javon's strengths is character and who he is as a person and he has since apologized but there is no part of that in this game. Again, I still haven't seen it, but from what I heard it is not good. That's now how we roll here and we'll be talking to him.”
CJ Gardner-Johnson's teammate Marshon Lattimore, who was on the other side of the field and didn't see the actual altercation, also fired back at Wims for his actions. Be as it may, he claims that the New Orleans squad will have each others' backs no matter what.
“That was a dirty play, and we don't play that. We're grown men. And we don't go for that stuff,” the Saints cornerback said. “We had to step up. And I told him, we all told him, ‘I got you.'”
