The New Orleans Saints will have to manage without Drew Brees for the next six weeks, and while Teddy Bridgewater is a perfectly capable replacement in the meantime, people are wondering how the Saints will use Taysom Hill.

While Hill is a quarterback by position, New Orleans has utilized him as a versatile, do-it-all weapon, and Fox Sports analyst Cris Carter thinks that the Saints will expand his role on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

Carter states that the Saints should make sure not to put too much responsibility on the arm of Bridgewater and should simply try to manage the game on offense and hope their defense keeps the game close.

It's certainly not out of the realm of possibility.

While New Orleans is not an elite defensive ballclub, it isn't terrible, and the Seahawks are not exactly one of the best offensive teams in the NFL.

Giving Hill some snaps could allow the Saints to keep the Seahawks' defense off balance, which is something that New Orleans certainly needs to do in this road matchup.

Without Brees, the Saints' offense obviously becomes far less lethal, and even though Brees relies mainly on short and intermediate throws, not having him really takes away the possibility of game-breaking plays.

The good news is that Bridgewater has a decent amount of experience as a starter, as he was the starting quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings in 2014 and 2015 and may very well have still been the starter there today had it not been for a devastating knee injury during the summer of 2016.
