Ahead of their Week 16 game against the Miami Dolphins, the New Orleans Saints added multiple players to their Reserve/COVID list. NFL insider Adam Schefter tweeted the news, stating that nine players were put on the list on Thursday alone.

The lengthy tweet included both quarterback Taysom Hill and Trevor Siemian, which is bad news for multiple reasons. One, it raises the question: who will be starting quarterback for the Saints this week? Two, who is going to call plays and hand the ball to Alvin Kamara?

This second question is extremely important to fantasy football owners who are riding with Kamara as their star running back for the playoffs. Kamara has had a rocky year in terms of fantasy points, mostly because of the knee injury that kept him out of four games in the second half of the season.

However, Kamara appears to be capable of performing for the Saints and his fantasy football teams. Week 16 is the perfect time for him to reassert his dominance as a top five running back in the league. The Miami Dolphins are mediocre, and there's no doubt that he could rip through their defense with a reliable quarterback.

Remember Christmas Day of 2020, when Kamara scored six rushing touchdowns? The unbelievable accomplishment crushed fantasy opponents, giving them little to no chance at continuing their playoff run. With so many question marks in the Saints' offense, things don't seem as promising for the star running back this holiday season.
