The New Orleans Saints have sorely missed star cornerback Marshon Lattimore. He is set to make his return to the lineup for their Thanksgiving Day matchup with their NFC South arch-rival, the Atlanta Falcons.

While Lattimore will make his return to the lineup against the Falcons, it remains to be seen if he will shadow Julio Jones. However, it is still up in the air if Jones is even going to be able to play given that he is a game-time decision.

The news broke that New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore will return to play on this Thanksgiving day. If he is healthy enough to play, you would think he is healthy enough to return to his typical role of shadowing the opposing teams number 1 receiver. This week his opponent is Julio Jones; who himself has a questionable injury tag.

Whether Lattimore lines up with Jones or not, the Saints will benefit from getting their top cornerback in their lineup. Neither player is currently at ‘100-percent' in their status and that makes the possibility of slowing the Falcons' top receiving threat far more manageable in the event that Lattimore was to be limited.

Leading up to game-day, Lattimore was listed as questionable on the Saints' official injury report. He had missed the team's previous two games as a result of a hamstring injury. As one might expect, New Orleans has experienced a noticeable decline in their pass coverage in his absence.

The Saints will be looking to get their revenge from their 26-9 beatdown of a loss that the Falcons dealt them at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in Week 10.
