Christmas came a bit early in New Orleans this week, as Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas gifted his teammates Air Jordan 11s ahead of their Week 16 matchup with the Tennessee Titans:

Fellow wide out Ted Ginn Jr. was thrilled with the present, but he was hardly surprised at Thomas' generosity:

“He made a lot of guys' Christmas,” Ginn said. “It's special because of who he is — you know, having the hype, just everything around him, for him to still be able to think about his teammates. Not just the receivers, not just the offense, but for him to think about his whole team just tells you how much he's invested into this program. There's nothing fake about it or ‘I'm trying to make a name for myself.' It was all real, genuine love. And I think everybody in this room enjoyed coming in to them boxes.”

This comes right after Thomas was named to his third straight Pro Bowl, as the fourth-year pro has hauled in 133 receptions for 1,552 yards and eight touchdowns through 14 games. He leads all NFL pass-catchers in the former two categories.

As a matter of fact, Thomas is just 11 catches shy of breaking Marvin Harrison's single-season record of 143 receptions, and Thomas, who is averaging 9.5 grabs per game this season and is coming off of back-to-back double-digit catch games, has two more contests to do it.

The 26-year-old also led the league with 125 receptions last year.

Meanwhile, the Saints are 11-3 on the season and have locked up their third straight NFC South title.
