The New Orleans Saints have one of the better defenses in all of football and plenty of that reasoning is because of just how good Chauncey Gardner-Johnson has been for them this year.

In a recent interview with NFL Total Access, Gardner-Johnson talked about how he feels when he's on the field for the Saints and why he plays with a chip on his shoulder,

“I’m not the biggest, I’m not the smallest, I’m not the fastest but I know the things I can do is un-coachable sometimes….I go out there, have fun, play football like I’m a kid again sometimes.”

This shows the type of competitor that he is and also why he finds as much success as he has this season. He has been one of the elite defensive backs in all of football and is arguably top-10 in the NFL in terms of his coverage skills.

The Saints have had a disappointing year this season, but they do still have an outside chance of making the playoffs. New Orleans is going to have to take on the Atlanta Falcons in a game that they should be able to walk away with a win in.

New Orleans certainly hasn't played up to expectations this season, but most of that can be contributed to their inability to stay healthy and not being able to win close games. They will look to take down the Falcons and somehow sneak into the playoffs on Sunday.
