The New Orleans Saints knew the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were capable of producing a shootout in Week 5. Fortunately, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater came prepared against the Bucs with wide receiver Michael Thomas as his No. 1 weapon.

Thomas was able to grind out a touchdown earlier in the game. Bridgewater found him once again to register his fourth touchdown pass of the day, via NFL Twitter:

This performance from Teddy Bridgewater was just what New Orleans needed coming into this NFC South showdown with Tampa Bay. It is no secret that he had struggled to find his rhythm since taking over for an injured Drew Brees under center. He seems to have finally gotten a firm grasp of the scheme on offense, which includes getting it to Thomas as much as possible.

The All-Pro wideout is proving once against why he is the highest-paid player at his position. Thomas is certainly providing the Saints with plenty of bang for their buck in Week 5.
