In desperate need to move the chains, Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan took off on 3rd & 5. While he ended up crossing the first down marker, the New Orleans Saints forced him to fumble and Vonn Bell scooped up the recovery.

This play was a strong portrayal of how much pressure Ryan has been under throughout this game. Both sides of the pocket collapsed before he decided to take off and there was pressure up the middle as well. With no time to throw, he had no choice but to run.

It has been a struggle for the Falcons on both sides of the ball in this game and Ryan, in particular, has faced difficult circumstances. Atlanta is without star wideout Julio Jones in this matchup and that makes it harder for the unit as a whole to produce.
