Brandon Marshall signed a one-year contract with the Seattle Seahawks in late May hoping to get a chance to revive his career. The Seahawks have Tyler Lockett and Doug Baldwin but after those two it's a lot of question marks. Marshall has a ton of experience in this league but the question is will it be enough to make the roster.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll has made it clear that Marshall isn't guaranteed a spot and he is going to have to work to beat out some of the younger guys in camp.

Carroll isn’t giving assurances Marshall will be a second target behind Baldwin. Or that he’s sure to even make the roster.

“We’ve got to get him on our field with our guys and see how it goes,” Carroll said via The News Tribune.

Marshall has been around the league and has learned from a lot of different coaches including the coaches this year in Seattle.

“There’s some things that I’ve already been challenged on,” Marshall said. “You would think that going into your 13th year that you’ve pretty much peaked and you’re tapped out, but there’s some areas that (Seahawks wide receivers) Coach Nate (Carroll, the head man’s son) has already pointed out where I can get better at, and I’m excited about that. Catching the ball, being more consistent there, route-running, and competing every single play. So I’m excited to get out there and get better.

Marshall has dealt with injuries the last few years that have held him back. This offseason he underwent two surgeries and now hopes he is back to 100 percent for an entire season.
