Bobby Wagner has already let it be known that he wants his next contract to exceed what C.J. Mosley got this offseason. If he has the season that ESPN expects him to in 2019, the Seattle Seahawks may need to pay up.

On ESPN's site, they recently released their fantasy projections for the upcoming season. Some leagues include individual defensive players so they accounted for linebackers as well.

For the Seahawks linebacker, ESPN is projecting Wagner to 142 total tackles, 48 assisted tackles, nine pass deflections, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one sack. If he fills the stat sheet like that he could be taking ice baths with the most pristine ice the world has to offer.

Undoubtedly, Wagner is one of the best linebacker and defensive players in the entire NFL. The All-Pro linebacker is heading into his eighth season in Seattle.

Since being drafted by the Seahawks second-round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Wagner has been the anchor for the defense. Wagner has had at least 114 total tackles in every season, averaging 84 solo tackles every season.

The Seahawks linebacker is projected to have the second-most tackles in the NFL only behind Darius Leonard of the Indianapolis Colts. Seattle is hoping for another productive season from their inside linebacker as he heads into a contract year.

There's no doubt that the Seahawks organization wants to keep Wagner and the feelings seem mutual. If Wagner has another phenomenal season like he usually does, he'll become the highest-paid linebacker in the entire NFL.
