The Seattle Seahawks have just recently won the Jamal Adams sweepstakes to improve their roster for the upcoming season. However, another intriguing player in All-Pro wideout Antonio Brown is now being linked to the team.
Earlier this month, ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler updated Seattle's interest in Brown during an appearance on SportsCenter:
“Seattle has done a deep dive on Antonio Brown … they’ve done their research like they would with any free agent,” Fowler said.” I'm told they have a good grasp on Antonio Brown, the player and the person. That part is crucial. That said, I don’t think a signing is imminent. It might not happen at all, but they have the deep file on him.
Seattle Seahawks back-up gunslinger Geno Smith hinted further by sharing a video of Brown's game highlight on Twitter:

Free-agent wide receiver Antonio Brown is still seeking answers from the league. He grows increasingly frustrated as he's still unable signing with a new team ahead of the 2020 season. This came after he hurdled a ton of personal and legal issues that abruptly ended his 2019 campaign.
The Seahawks and Brown reportedly have mutual interest. But most importantly, quarterback Russell Wilson had reportedly given his blessing to sign Brown in May. If head coach Pete Carroll and the rest of the front office can snag the standout receiver, the rest of the league may very well be in deep trouble. That is, if Brown could keep things contained on the field. Brown would potentially be joining a deep wideout room which includes Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf, and Philip Dorsett.
Brown's discussions with the Seahawks are reportedly “ongoing” and coach Pete Carroll previously checked in on the All-Pro wideout following last season's release from the New England Patriots.
Everyone is aware that the seven-time Pro Bowler is still capable of performing at a high level. It's just a matter of whether Brown can consistently stay on the course and keep out of the extra shenanigans. Nevertheless, the developments following this rumor are still something to keep an eye on.
