Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson didn't have the best game in their Monday Night Football showdown with the Washington Football Team. Sure he had two touchdowns, but he also made some ill-advised decisions that cost them the game.

Speaking to reporters after the contest, Wilson admitted that it's not the offensive line to blame for their offensive woes in the game that saw them lose 17-15. The Seahawks QB took responsibility, admitting he needs to step up for the team.

“It’s not the O-line’s fault. I have to be better,” an emotional Wilson said of the loss, per Gregg Bell of The News Tribune.

While Russell Wilson completed 20 of his 31 passes for 207 yards, his passing just seemed off right from the start. The biggest issue in their game against Washington was the fact that wide receiver DK Metcalf didn't receive a target in the first half.

When Wilson called for two straight plays on him in the third quarter, Washington already got him covered. The Seahawks signal-caller acknowledged that in order for them to win, he has to bring the ball to their star wideout.

“We have to get him the ball. He’s one of the best players in the world,” Wilson added.

The Seahawks fell to 3-8 on the season with the defeat, with their chances of making the playoff seemingly getting bleaker week by week. If they don't hit their stride soon, they could very well be vacationing early.
