Russell Wilson is the greatest quarterback in Seattle Seahawks history, with all respect to Matt Hasselbeck and Dave Krieg. It only took eight years to accomplish such a task.

On Sunday, against the Arizona Cardinals, Wilson will get the chance only to reaffirm that. He needs just 102 passing yards to pass Hasselbeck for most passing yards in franchise history, as noted by The Seahawks Wire.

Wilson already holds franchise records for touchdown passes (224), wins (86), and completion percentage (62%). Since entering the league in 2012 out of Wisconsin, and subsequently winning the starting job from Matt Flynn, Wilson hasn't missed a game, nor have the Seahawks had a losing season.

Wilson, at 31 years old, is having the best individual season of his career. He has Seahawks at 11-3, in the process putting up an MVP year if it weren't for Lamar Jackson.

Wilson is 300 for 445 (67.4%) passing for 3,708 yards, 28 touchdowns, and five interceptions on the year. He boasts a 109.3 passer rating, while also rushing for 311 yards and three touchdowns on 65 attempts.

2019 is a landmark year for Wilson. Not only is he breaking records and well on the way to the playoffs on the field, but he also hauled-in a record-breaking contract extension in the offseason. On April 16, he signed a four-year, $140 million contract extension, locking him in through 2023.

Wilson's competition on Sunday should allow him to hit 102 yards. Though the Seahawks tend to play down opponents, the Cardinals come in as one of the NFL's leakiest secondaries. The last time the two played, in Week 4, Wilson threw for 240 yards in a 27-10 win.
