With a 3-7 record through 10 games, the Seattle Seahawks aren't where they thought they'd be before the season started. But after Russell Wilson's extended absence due to his finger injury and his continued struggles upon his return, things have looked bleak for the NFC West side.
Russell Wilson was vocal on what the Seahawks must do to turn things around – have a short memory and remember who they really are.
Via Pro Football Talk:
“I think what our offense needs to do is forget about the past,” the Seahawks quarterback said. “Stay focused on the present. Stay focused on what we’re doing right now. All the talk, all this and that. We’ve got great players, we’ve got a great line, we’ve got great playmakers. We’ve got a great play-caller in Shane [Waldron]. We’ve got a pretty decent quarterback. We can make plays. We don’t need to do anything else but forget about the past and stay focused on the moment.
Seattle already has seven losses with a little under half a season left to play. That already ties the most losses they've had with Russell Wilson under center throughout his decade with the team.
The Seahawks have entered uncharted territory in the Russell Wilson era with the record of a losing team. Their QB knows they're much better than the standings show. Now it's time for them to prove it.
