The Seattle Seahawks have remained relatively quiet throughout the offseason — until just recently, that is. Adding some intrigue to the team's previously inactive offseason, the Seahawks managed to re-sign veteran quarterback Russell Wilson, who will now remain in Seattle for years to come.

Although this past week was highlighted by Wilson's new contract, the Seahawks also found out who they will be playing in the 2019-20 campaign as the NFL officially released its schedule for next season.

With Seattle receiving some good news upon learning of their 2019-20 opponents, the Seahawks will most notably play four straight night games between Week 10 and Week 14 while also encountering the team's bye week during this same stretch. The Seahawks will matchup against San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings and surging Los Angeles Rams, respectively, during this string of primetime games. The team's bye week will come between their games against the 49ers and Eagles.

However, Seattle did receive some not-so-lucky news in regards to the team's schedule as the Seahawks will square off against the rival Rams on a short week not once, but twice in 2019-20. It is also worth noting that while the Rams will surely serve as the top team in the NFC West going forward, the division will no doubt be improved overall with both the 49ers and Arizona Cardinals expected to be at least a little better next season.

The Seahawks will need to capitalize on their slew of primetime matchups if they are going to upend the Rams in the upcoming season.
