An emotional Russell Wilson in his postgame on-field interview said he was just grateful that the team could get a win on the same day they honored the teams late owner, Paul Allen.

When asked how exactly his team was able to come out on top in such a battle, his answer was pretty simple.

“We found a way. We found a way.”

During the postgame press conference, Wilson went into his comments about Allen a little more, saying how much he appreciated everything he has done for him.

“I think about what he meant to this world and what he meant to just me personally and my family,” Wilson said later in his news conference via ESPN. “He gave me an opportunity to play here. I always say to you guys that I'm one of 32 men in the world that get to do what I get to do, and I'm grateful for that. I'm grateful for that.”

Wilson was right the team found a way, and the main reason was the way he performed, especially when the team needed a big throw. Against the Los Angeles Rams, Wilson threw for 268 yards and four touchdowns, which is even more impressive considering the Seahawks are actually a run-first team.

Now the Seahawks have a 4-1 record and what once was considered a fringe playoff team is now sneaking into the conversation as one of the NFC's best teams and if Wilson can continue to play like he has, there is no reason this can't be another special season.
