Thanks to a stellar performance from rookie wide receiver DK Metcalf, the Seattle Seahawks are now in the next round of the NFL Playoffs. With veteran quarterback Russell Wilson connecting with Metcalf all afternoon long, the Seahawks managed to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles by the score of 17-9 on Sunday afternoon.

As a result of Metcalf's impressive performance, which came in his postseason debut, Russell Wilson made a point to praise his teammate following the Sunday afternoon victory on the road in Philadelphia.

The 22-year-old Metcalf finished the NFC clash by leading the Seahawks in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches. Metcalf finished his postseason debut with seven receptions from Russell Wilson for a whopping 160 yards through the air, all of which was capped off by a massive 53-yard touchdown reception.

If the Seahawks are going to win yet another road game next weekend against the Green Bay Packers, Metcalf will once again need to come up big for Seattle, in tandem with Russell Wilson.
