Dwyane Wade has always prided himself on being different. After he felt like he had outgrown the nickname “Flash,” given to him by ex-teammate Shaquille O'neal, he came up with his own unique name… “WOW.”

WOW stands for Way of Wade and it wasn't popular when he first introduced it. His best friend LeBron James wasn't a fan either as he revealed the name before Wade had a chance to, saying, “It’s ‘WOW,’ Way of Wade. I think it’s corny.”

The name was perfect for Wade as he introduced his new signature shoe line for Chinese shoe company Li-Ning.

Li-Ning, the company behind his signature shoe, is apparently getting used to Wade's uniqueness as well, because they weren't even able to spell his first name on an advertisement made for kicks.

Wade's first name is spelled with the ‘y' before the ‘a' so it looks like Dwyane, where it's normally spelled with the ‘a' first.

It's understandable for people to spell his name wrong, but his signature shoe sponsor?
