After having zero nationally televised games in the past two season, the Philadelphia 76ers are slated to have three games, two on ESPN and one on TNT, presented to a national audience during the 2016-17 season. To coach Brett Brown, this is a sign that people's perspective on the team is on the up.

Brown told Brian Seltzer of The BroadCast:

“It's really, I think, a statement to the way the public views our young and exciting team. There's a lot of mystery surrounding Joel Embiid. There's a lot of, not so much mystery, I just think interest, anticipation, in the arrival of Ben (Simmons) and Dario (Saric).

“There's a real fascination (with) how we're going to pull this thing together. ESPN has recognized that and put us on national television for the first time since I've been here.”

With so many new pieces coming into the fold, the Sixers truly will be a revitalized team next season; whether or not the wins follow remains to be seen.
