Don't ever say that Ben Simmons is overrated. That's unless you want to get savagely burned by the Philadelphia 76ers star.

This is exactly what happened to a Washington Wizards broadcaster, Justin Kutcher, who recently came out with this strong take on Simmons (h/t Ky Carlin of Sixers Wire):

“I’ve said it before and I know I’ll take flack for it,” Kutcher said. “… I think Ben Simmons is one of, if not the most, overrated players in the NBA. He’s gotten so much love and attention that people are not paying attention to what Tobias Harris is actually doing on the floor.”

Simmons caught wind of the comments and has since clapped back with this vicious retort:

“He's like a 5'5 commentator for the Wizards, I can't give it too much attention,” Simmons said, via Kyle Neubeck of the Philly Voice.

No need to make it personal, Ben. Then again, Kutcher probably had this coming after calling out Simmons on multiple occasions.

Simmons did not stop there, though. He also took to Instagram to post a photo of Kutcher in a bathrobe with the caption “another casual”:

Simmons, who recently returned to action for the Sixers following a couple of games out, is not one to mess with and this recent exchange serves as a testament to this fact. Maybe this will serve as a lesson for analysts to think twice about criticizing the Sixers star in the future.

Simmons has emerged as one of the best players of his generation and he has the numbers to prove it. “Overrated” isn't exactly the word I'd use to describe him.

I hope that this gets me on Ben's good side.
