Philadelphia 76ers guard Danny Green's night is unfortunately over as the veteran wing will not be able to be out there any further tonight with his team's season on the line.

Green collided with his teammate and 2021-2022 MVP runner-up Joel Embiid in the first quarter, resulting in Green needing assistance to get to the locker room. The Sixers guard has already been ruled out for the rest of Game 6.

While not having the best season, the 34-year-old Green is averaging nine points per game on 45% shooting from three-point range.

Without Green on the floor, it would not be a surprise if Matisse Thybulle gets more run tonight, as the Sixers desperately need wing defense next to James Harden and Tyrese Maxey.

With Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro being lethal offensive scoring weapons, the 76ers will have their work cut out for them to avoid another playoff trip ending in the 2nd round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs.

This is a developing story.
