New Philadelphia 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey is very confident about the Sixers' offensive capabilities.

During an AMA series on Reddit, Morey said he believes the Sixers can have a top-10 offense next season for a couple of reasons.

“Offense was obviously the biggest weakness last year but I think with the additions of Doc, Dave Joerger, Seth, & Danny, along with Doc moving some of last years players into better roles I believe our offense can be top 10,” the new Sixers exec said.

“I think a strength of the roster that I don't hear people talk about is that the rotation runs deep with quality players. One area that often submarines good seasons is when teams have to play near replacement level players for large minutes. I don't see that happening with this roster.”

The Sixers hired Doc Rivers after firing Brett Brown. Former Memphis Grizzlies head coach Dave Joerger also joined the Sixers as an assistant coach.

Daryl Morey and general manager Elton Brand acquired Seth Curry from the Dallas Mavericks and Danny Green from the Oklahoma City Thunder. Both men were able to trade Al Horford, who has one of the worst contracts in the NBA.

As is the case every season, the Sixers will ultimately go as far as Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid can lead the team. Philly fans are praying Morey and Rivers can be the duo who unlocks the All-Stars' potential.

Thus far, Simmons and Embiid haven't gotten past the second round of the playoffs.
