The Philadelphia 76ers made one of the more splashier signings of the buyout season signing Ersan Ilyasova who was bought out from the Atlanta Hawks, as they continue their push for the playoffs.

He was a starter with the Hawks this season, but that won't be the case with the 76ers.

Dario Saric is the future of the power forward position for the 76ers, so it makes sense for them to continue to keep him in a groove by starting him.

He has played in 58 games for the 76ers this season, starting 53 of them. He is averaging 14.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.

He has improved in almost every statistical category for Philadelphia this year, and if the 76ers want to take that next step forward, he is going to need to be a big reason why.

For Ilyasova, he is veteran who seems most concerned with winning so accepting a role off the bench doesn't come as much of a surprise.

So far this year, he is averaging 10 points per game and shooting 35.9 percent from deep. This is actually his second go-round with the 76ers. He played 53 games in the 2016-17 putting up 14.8 points per game, which statistically was the best run he has had in the NBA.

He will be a key for the 76ers for the rest of the season and will be a big threat off the bench.
