Gilbert Arenas played several seasons in the NBA, so you would at least expect to hear some smart insights from him with regards to why the Philadelphia 76ers lost three consecutive games to the Boston Celtics to start their Eastern Conference semifinals series. Unfortunately, that’s not how Arenas broke the series down during an episode of Out of Bounds.

Instead, the 3-time NBA All-Star went to a completely different direction, suggesting that Meek Mill has become a walking jinx for the Sixers.

Meek Mill was recently released from jail and watched Game 5 of the first round Sixers-Heat series that saw Philly clinch a ticket to the conference semifinals, but Arenas says the Philadelphia-based rapper has been nothing but a source of misfortune for the Sixers against the Boston Celtics.

Well, Gilbert Arenas can no longer ride that hot take moving forward, as the Sixers have finally scored a win over Boston on Monday at home, 103-92.

The Sixers will look to extend their stay in the playoffs this coming Wednesday, when they return to TD Garden in Boston for Game 5 of the series. They lost Games 1 and 2 in Boston, but at least they have some momentum heading into another do-or-die contest.
