Philadelphia 76ers star Jimmy Butler was one of the first to call out teammate Greg Monroe for his embarrassing missed layup in the fourth quarter of their Game 3 victory against the Toronto Raptors.

Butler and company were in a jovial mood following their 116-95 blowout win against the Raptors, and after the game, the former Most Improved Player of the Year Winner flat out asked Monroe about his thoughts on the botched play.

“Yo Greg, what were you thinking when you smoked that layup?” Butler asked, via Michael Lee of The Athletic.

Monroe could do nothing but laugh off Butler's criticism but did come back with some friendly banter towards his teammate.

After speaking with real reporters for a few minutes, Monroe joked that Butler was going to “see these hands” at the next practice. “You trying to get me out of this league?” Monroe said, chuckling in his booming baritone. “They’ll say, ‘Greg Monroe fights his teammates. He beat up Jimmy Butler. He’s a cancer.’”

Monroe then walked past Butler to give him some dap on the way out. “That’ll be two cancers then, because I damn sure am one,” Butler replied.

That's a pretty funny exchange right there, and what makes it even better is Butler's self-defaming humor. He obviously knows how some in the mainstream media view him, and he was not shy to make fun of himself because of the same.

The Sixers won't be laughing on Sunday, though, as they face off again with the second-seeded Raptors in Game 4 of this second-round matchup. Philadelphia will get a shot at taking a commanding 3-1 lead in the series, and you can be sure that they won't be taking this tremendous opportunity lightly.
