The Philadelphia 76ers welcomed newly-signed center Andre Drummond to their facility on Wednesday, where he greeted, among other folks, the man he'll be backing up: Joel Embiid.

Despite their long-running beef (mostly Embiid trolling tbh), it was good vibes in the City of Brotherly Love. Drummond and Embiid hugged it out upon the Big Penguin's arrival in the Sixers' weight room.

Drummond signed with the 76ers on a one-year minimum deal. Last March, Drummond, a two-time All-Star, turned down money to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers and raise his free-agent value as a starting center on a contender. He averaged a double-double in L.A. but struggled to fit in. Drummond started all 21 games he played for the Lakers, then received a DNP in Game 6 vs. the Phoenix Suns.

Drummond will be replacing Dwight Howard in Philly, who will be, in turn, taking Drummond's place with the Lakers.

Embiid memorably ate Drummond alive during a Nov. 2018 game between the Sixers and Cleveland Cavaliers. The two skirmished early, then Embiid unloaded for 39 points and 17 rebounds.

Afterward, Embiid trolled Drummond on Twitter, as he's known to do. (The Sixers' above Embiid-Drummond tweet is a reference to this).

The year before, the two centers battled in another epic duel, and the trash-talk was relentless. Frankly, Embiid has been disrespecting his now-teammate for some time.

These two may not play a single minute on the floor together during Drummond's likely only season in Philly, but I'm sure Doc Rivers would prefer they genuinely get along. Seems like they're cool.
