Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is listed as questionable (gastroenteritis) against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.

The All-Star center played through the illness on Friday, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The 24-year-old big man was dealing with a stomach bug ahead of Friday's 117-110 win over the Denver Nuggets.

He will likely end up being a game-time decision, but should Embiid be forced to sit out Friday's game, both Amir Johnson and Jonah Bolden would be prepped for extended minutes in the frontcourt if he is unable to go.

Embiid played 33 minutes against Denver, and was able to put together a solid triple-double performance with 15 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists.

He should be in the starting lineup without any restrictions Sunday, but there's no official word yet on Embiid's status leading up to the 3:30 p.m. EST tipoff.

Both the Sixers and Lakers are still in the process of ironing out their lineups, following the recent transactions that occurred earlier this week.

New additions Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic, and Mike Scott will make their second appearance for the Sixers, while guard Reggie Bullock will play his first game with the Lakers, followed by former Sixers power forward Mike Muscala getting his first crack at Philly on Sunday, since being dealt to the Los Angeles Clippers (then later acquired by the Lakers).

Joel Embiid is averaging 27.2 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists for the 76ers in his third NBA season.
