In case you missed it last night, the Philadelphia 76ers picked up win No. 40 on the season with an easy 119-105 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies at Wells Fargo Center. It was just another day at the office for Sixers star center Joel Embiid, but this game was quite significant in relation to a bet made in early October that a fan made with Fox Sports media personality Colin Cowherd.

After win No. 40, Embiid took a shot at Colin “Coward” Cowherd with a priceless tweet that gained a lot of traction and just adds to the lengthy list of savage Joel moments.

About 45 minutes after Embiid's tweet last night, Cowherd posted a picture to his own Twitter account with a picture of himself that had a Sixers jersey edited over his button-down shirt.

However, in another tweet by Cowherd on Thursday, it seems like the sports host backpedaled just a little bit while actually following through on the bet.

“In honor of ‘The Process' I’m going to wait five years before putting on a Sixers jersey. 😂,” Cowherd tweeted.

He really should be a man of his word and live up to his end of the deal, though. Technically, he agreed to wear a Sixers jersey on his show and admit he was wrong about Philly's team this year.

Thankfully, that's just what he did on Thursday morning's edition of “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” as he and co-host Kristine Leahy both donned Embiid's No. 21 jersey while on set.

A clip of video from Cowherd's Sixers segment this morning on FS1 can be viewed below.

Good for you, Colin, for being a man of your word.
