Canadian rapper Drake mocked Joel Embiid on Tuesday night, and the Philadelphia 76ers superstar vowed that he will make up for his performance. While walking out of the arena after losing in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semis series with the Toronto Raptors, the Sixers superstar told Drake that he will be back. Several minutes before the said encounter, Drake was seen trolling Embiid while the latter was walking towards the bench.

Drake managed to convince the crowd to do Embiid's airplane flying gesture when the 76ers center was taken out of the game early in the fourth period. It was a shot at Embiid after having a poor showing in the crucial match against the second-seeded Raptors.

Embiid finished with just 13 points on 5-for-10 shooting from the field and had eight turnovers in 31 minutes. The 76ers missed his production badly, as they took a humiliating 125-89 loss to the Raptors. In their 101-96 loss in Game 4, the former Kansas standout also had a sub-par showing, finishing with just 11 points in 35 minutes.

Former NBA superstar Shaquille O'Neal blasted Embiid during the TNT post-game show after the third-year center was seen checking the stat sheets following a bad game. O'Neal believes that the 76ers will not recover, as they lack a leader who can help them get out of the hole they are in right now.
