Joel Embiid and Philadelphia 76ers president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo seemed to have a good relationship but that might have all changed Tuesday night with the report by Ben Detrick of The Ringer, that Colangelo had five burner accounts and used them to tweet negative things about the players.

Embiid had the perfect response, tweeting at one of the burner accounts that Sam Hinkie is better and smarter than him.

There were many times that Colangelo tweeted mean things about his players, and a lot of them crossed the line. One of the tweets was after Embiid was seen dancing with his shirt off at a Meek Mill concert.

“Too bad that Embiid danced like a fool and the whole disaster happened, next time he will think twice before mocking his team,” Eric jr wrote on February 14, 2017. The account reacted with ire in another post. “If I were mngt I would step on a ladder and kick his b#**,” they wrote.

The most damning tweet that could very well be the final straw for Embiid was one where Colangelo called the Sixers star center a big selfish baby.

In January, in a tweet directed at the Twitter accounts of Simmons and Robert Covington, Still Balling tore into Embiid. “I am not voting for Joel, but I am voting for Ben at every change I get,” they wrote. “I love his intensity, his passion and the pride for his team. Joel is a big selfish baby, not my leader anymore.”

What comes out of this no one knows, but it seems there is a chance that the Sixers could be looking for a shakeup if they can't fix this mess.
