To say that Game 6 between the Sixers and the Heat has been physical would be an understatement. Philly superstar Joel Embiid has been on the receiving end of quite a brutal beatdown at the hands of his opponents and he's looking a bit worse for wear.

The Sixers big man has been playing through a facial injury and a torn ligament on his right thumb. On top of that, Embiid has taken more than a few more blows in Game 6 as the Heat applies the full wrath of their physical play on the All-Star center. At one point in the game, Embiid struggled to get back up after falling hard on the floor (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

Embiid is doing everything he can to stay in the ballgame knowing what's at stake here. A loss for the Sixers simply means that their season comes to an end.

Philly already lost veteran swingman Danny Green earlier in the game due to a brutal knee injury and at this point, it is clear that the Sixers cannot lose any more warm bodies — especially not the banged-up Joel Embiid. Not right now.
