The Philadelphia 76ers bounced back with authority in Game 3 against the Miami Heat on Friday, winning 99-79 in Joel Embiid's return. We now have a brand new series and Magic Johnson was loving what he saw from Sixers head coach Doc Rivers.

Rivers certainly got the most out of his squad, with four of their five starters finishing in double-figures. Danny Green surprisingly led the way with a 21-point performance as he went 7 for 9 from downtown in a shooting clinic. While Embiid only had 18 points and 11 boards, his return to the lineup did wonders for the Sixers on both ends of the floor. There was a different type of energy from the get-go and they kept the momentum going for all 48 minutes.

Rivers have faced a lot of pressure for some of his decisions and comments, but Johnson clearly believes he did the right thing in Game 3. The Heat did struggle immensely to hit shots though, draining a putrid 23% of their three-pointers on the night. The Sixers will need Embiid to step it up even more on Sunday while hoping James Harden can do his part once again as well.

We can also expect some more Magic Johnson commentary, whatever the outcome may be. He loves to take to Twitter and voice his opinions.
