Sixers star Ben Simmons underwent an MRI on his left knee after suffering an injury against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, Simmons' MRI came back clean.

The Sixers' next game is on Friday against the Orlando Magic. Odds are Philadelphia will rest Simmons in that contest.

Simmons entered Wednesday averaging 16.6 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.1 assists per game for the Sixers in 56 starts. The former Rookie of the Year finished with eight points, six rebounds and four assists in 23 minutes versus the Wizards.
