In recent years, the Philadelphia 76ers have earned the reputation as a team that gets quality talent in the draft. While most picks for the Sixers have been in the top 10, they are still capable of finding someone who can make an immediate impact. That is what they're planning to do with the 24th pick, according to a report by Keith Pompey of Inquirer.com.

In the report, Pompey had a chance to talk to Vince Rozman, the Sixers’ senior director of scouting, who said they are hoping to find someone who can contribute right away. He added that they might consider drafting someone who is older with a more mature game rather than a guy who is young and raw.

The Sixers came in last season as one of the favorites to win a championship, but they were eliminated by the Toronto Raptors in the second round of the playoffs. It seems that they're already in a win-now mode, which is probably the reason behind their approach in the upcoming draft.

Philly has built a contender through the draft. Yes, some of the players it has drafted in recent years have failed to meet their expectations, but the Sixers are sticking with the formula that brought them where they are now.

After all, the NBA Draft is where the “process” begins.

The Sixers will always “Trust the Process” no matter what.
