Netflix released season four of Stranger Things at the end of May, and it quickly became the show of the summer. From TikTok to Twitter, everyone is talking about it, including young NBA star Tyrese Maxey.

The Philadelphia 76ers guard took to Twitter to endorse the show and the upcoming season five series finale.

“If you don't watch this series you SLEEP!” Maxey tweeted Tuesday night.

The first seven episodes of season four were released on May 27, while the last two episodes became available on Netflix on July 1. The show first aired in July of 2016, and immediately gained a ton of fans. Now, even more people are hopping on the bandwagon with the release of the latest season.

As for Tyrese Maxey, he's no newbie to the Upside Down. In fact, he tweeted that he was going to re-watch season three four days before season four came out.

According to The Verge, Stranger Things 4 became the second most-watched Netflix season ever (behind Squid Game) with 1.15 billion total viewing hours since its release. This includes 301 million hours the weekend that episodes eight and nine came out. The show was also in Netflix's Top 10 in 93 different countries that weekend.

Unfortunately for Tyrese Maxey and the rest of the fanbase, it's going to be another two years before there's new content. That's right, Stranger Things 5 isn't expected to come out until 2024. And, according to the series' creators, the final season is going to look a little different than its predecessors.

Comic Book Resources tweeted the information from the Duffer Brothers on Tuesday, following the release of season four.
