The Philadelphia 76ers still have Ben Simmons and have yet to find a trade partner for the talented point guard. Reports came out that Simmons is likely to be dealt by the Sixers, but their asking price is a lot. Well, the Sixers' asking price remains high, according to David Aldridge of The Athletic.
“The Sixers are seeking control of at least four future first rounders via direct trade or pick swaps, along with an All-Star-level player in most scenarios.”
That is a massive haul, and trams might not be close to budging at all at that asking price. Simmons is almost certainly playing elsewhere when the season rolls around, and the longer the Sixers hold on to him, the more their asking price continues to go down as the leverage runs out.

Sure, teams definitely want Simmons, although Philly remains steadfast on their desire to get a ton of picks for him. If no offers come through, perhaps Simmons is back with Joel Embiid when the season rolls around, although that might not go over too well.
With NBA free agency kicking off, it will be worth monitoring the situation regarding Simmons and the Sixers to see if they can find a viable trade partner.
