Philadelphia 76ers head coach Brett Brown recently said Ben Simmons has been taking a lot of 3-pointers during Sixers practices down in Orlando, Florida.

While we have seen videos of Simmons hitting 3-pointers in workouts before, this latest shot by the All-Star point-forward featured a one-legged fadeaway 3-pointer.

Take a look:

The odds of Simmons ever taking this shot in a game are next to none. However, it's good to see the Sixers' floor general getting comfortable with his touch from deep.

By now, everyone knows that Philadelphia is only going to win a championship if Simmons develops some resemblance of a jump shot. Even if the lefty could make mid-range shots, it would open up the paint for Sixers star center Joel Embiid to dominate.

Before the 2019-20 season was suspended, Simmons was averaging 16.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game for the Sixers. He made his second straight All-Star team and is primed to be one of the best players to ever play for the franchise if he stays in Philadelphia his entire NBA career and develops a consistent outside game.

However, there have been rumors that the Sixers could possibly trade Simmons or Embiid in the summer if the team doesn't play well in the 2020 playoffs. With that said, all eyes are going to be on the 76ers once the playoffs begin following the conclusion of the seeding games.
