Philadelphia 76ers point-forward Ben Simmons made a mockery of Chicago Bulls big man Lauri Markkanen on Friday in their nationally televised matchup in the Sixers' homecourt.

There was no love lost as the 23-year-old former Rookie of the Year dribbled past the third-year Finnish just to slam it down in transition over Markkanen's body (via SportsCenter).

Ben Simmons is having another All-Star season for the Sixers, averaging 15.3 points, 7.6 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game along with a league-leading 2.1 steals.

While the Australian native and former first overall pick from the 2016 draft has been criticized for failing to extend his shooting range, Simmons shoots from a high clip and near the basket, converting on 56.6 percent of his field goals this year.

Simmons has been a menace on defense and skeptics have been edging the Sixers to break apart the duo with fellow All-Star Joel Embiid since there are on-court problems between the two players.

For Lauri Markkanen, meanwhile, he has continuously struggled for the Bulls this season. In fact, he has admitted that he has not taken the necessary jump the team expected from him before the 2019-20 campaign started.
