Many remember how inseparable Tobias Harris and his longtime friend Boban Marjanovic used to be during their time with the Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers, and Philadelphia 76ers. Unfortunately, their time together came to a close when Marjanovic left the Sixers and signed with the Dallas Mavericks, soon finding a friend in a fellow European talent in Luka Doncic.

A recent Mavs video promoting the resumption of the NBA's season had Doncic pairing up with Marjanovic to sketch the Mickey Mouse ears, signaling a return to play in three weeks.

This video was brought up to Harris, who saw no option but to google broken heart quotes:

… and he actually found one that suits it:

“Starting today, I need to forget what's gone. Appreciate what still remains and look forward to what's coming next.”

That's some sage advice for Harris, who could be without Marjanovic for another year if he fulfills his two-year commitment to the Mavericks.

Harris has a lot to look forward to, with less than three weeks left before the NBA season restarts in July 30 and plenty of work ahead as the Sixers look to put their road woes behind them.

It was only a matter of time before someone as charismatic as the gentle giant Marjanovic found another friend to vibe with, and Doncic's playful personality seems to be a match made in heaven. Sorry, Tobias.

Yet even if these two are telling quite well in Big D, Boban and Tobias could soon reunite for a short while in the Walt Disney World bubble in Orlando — a moment that will be as magical as the amusement park.
