A couple of days ago, Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid said his game is better when he's having fun. Well, that seems to be the case in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference semifinals against the Toronto Raptors.

Embiid had a good first half against the Raptors, highlighted by this defense-to-offense play late in the second quarter.

Embiid started the sequence by blocking Serge Ibaka's dunk attempt. In the following possession, he found his All-Star teammate Ben Simmons who quickly took advantage of the space to finish with an nice jam.

The Cameroon big man has been impressive on the defensive end as of late. In Game 3, he had five blocks and was a force to be reckoned in the painted area, showing the Raptors that his struggles during the first two games was just a fluke.

In seven games in the 2019 postseason, Embiid is putting up 22.9 points, 11.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists while shooting 45.5 percent overall. He is also averaging 2.4 blocks a night, higher than is 1.9 denials during the 2018-19 regular season.

Embiid is proving that he is one of the best players in the league right now, and he undoubtedly brought his game up in this series with the heavily favored Toronto Raptors.
