Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid has been known for his trash-talking antics. His latest victim: Emmanuel Mudiay of the New York Knicks.

Embiid, who was drafted by the Sixers in 2014 as the third overall pick, has finally seen significant court action after a string of injuries. Now that he seems 100 percent good to go, Embiid has started talking.

The 23-year-old center has exchanged heated words with  Hassan Whiteside, Draymond Green, Kevin Durant, and Donovan Mitchell.

When asked about whether he was worried if the players he trash talks suddenly retaliates physically, Embiid said:

“Oh no. I'm not worried about that,” Embiid said on ESPN's SC6. “If those guys don't want to get their feelings hurt, if they're not strong mentally, that's not my fault. But I think when it comes down to it, if we've all got to square up, I mean, I'm 7-2 and I'm a big dude, so I don't think you want to try me. And I'm African too.

“That's the whole point of playing basketball — having fun. Go out there, have fun, kick someone's ass and just play basketball.”

Embiid has always backed up his words. In just his second season, he's averaging 23.5 points, 11 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.8 blocks per game.

He's one of the centers who's been slowly changing the game. He possesses impressive footwork in the post, reminiscent of NBA legend Hakeem Olajuwon. On top of this, he has a smooth shooting stroke from the outside. He may talk a lot but he certainly has the arsenal to walk the talk.
