There is plenty to be excited for, for fans of the Philadelphia 76ers this season and into the future.

After a few tumultuous seasons of tanking and stocking draft picks that would potentially become the future, and after those same picks didn't pan out, or remained injured for entire seasons, things are beginning to change.

The 2017-2018 season is a very different one compared to the past, starting with new management, and the recovery of their star players, things are looking up in the City of Brotherly Love.

Ben Simmons has completed his rookie season after spending last year injured, similar to co-star Joel Embiid before him. Both Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor were moved to stabilize the roster, and the effects of it all produced an unforgettable year in Philadelphia.

Near the end of this season, the team also saw the return of injured Markelle Fultz who struggled with shoulder problems, followed by an issue with his shooting form that preceded one of the wildest stories this season.

Fultz was seen with an almost unnatural shooting form in practice which caused major concern but worked his way back to the basketball court and now helps contribute to the versatility of an up and coming roster of young players.

The end result of it all led the Sixers to a 16-game win streak, finishing this season with a 51-30 record with a game left Wednesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks, and the third seed in the Eastern Conference within grasp.

When the playoffs begin on April 14, the Sixers will return to postseason competition which has eluded them since 2012, as one of the most dangerous teams in the conference.

To celebrate their newfound success, the 76ers launched a ‘Phila Unite' campaign commercial airing now, getting the entire fan base ready for the first of many postseason runs and more.
