When you think of Lionel Messi, you think Camp Nou and Barcelona F.C. They have become synonymous over the years. Sadly, after over 20 years, Messi departed La Liga for PSG last summer. Barcelona was unable to extend his contract due to financial issues within the club. So, Messi signed a two-year contract with the French club. But according to his longtime former teammate Dani Alves, Messi is not having a good time.
Alves is quoted by ESPN Deportes with a bold remark.

Because Leo for me lived in the best place in the world to practice what he loves.”
The Barcelona legend has only scored two goals in 18 Ligue 1 matches for PSG this season. He does however have 10 assists to his credit. PSG is all but a lock to win the French league title this year, but that is never the goal for Messi. It's all about Champions League titles. PSG was recently eliminated from Champions League contention following a 2-nil defeat to Real Madrid. That left some PSG fans to even boo Messi.
Messi helped build one of the greatest dynasties in soccer history. Barcelona captured four Champions League titles while he was there, as well as 10 La Liga titles, six Copa del Rey championships and eight Spanish Super Cup trophies.
Alves himself left Barcelona for Juventus and then PSG, before returning to his home in Spain last season. It sounds like he is trying to make a pitch to bring Messi back home as well.
