Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland is one of the finest young players on the globe and Chelsea is doing everything imaginable to bring the Norwegian to Stamford Bridge. According to 90min, the Blues are preparing a huge £150 million bid for Haaland, which they believe will be enough for Dortmund to let go of their prized possession.

Despite spending a bag of money last summer on the likes of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, Chelsea is heavily in the market for a striker who can finish on a consistent basis. Haaland absolutely fits the billing after another brilliant season for BVB, where he bagged 40 goals across all competitions.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is high on former player Romelu Lukaku, but it seems as Inter won't be so adamant to sell the Belgian after Achraf Hakimi just put pen to paper at PSG.

The Blues won't have much competition for Erling Haaland in this current transfer window considering how much it will cost for Dortmund to let him leave, but next summer his release clause will drop to £64 million. Chelsea knows they will be fighting for his signature with countless European giants when his price tag drops and that's why they're trying so hard to pry him away from Germany right now.

90min's report states that Chelsea has already been in contact with Haaland's camp, which is led by football super-agent Mino Raiola. The 20-year-old was in fact born in Leeds but would be happy to take his talents to London.

If the Blues can actually make this happen, they will undoubtedly be favorites to lift the Premier League trophy in 2021/22.
