Lyon defender Marcelo was demoted to the second team because of constant farting and laughing in the dressing room. Yes, you heard that correctly.

Marcelo had started to laugh during speeches from teammates after games and also farted around sporting director Juninho and manager Peter Bosz. Both were not pleased.

The 34-year-old put pen to paper on a new deal prior to the season, but Lyon ultimately terminated his contract in January and he ended up joining Bordeaux, who are currently at the bottom of the standings and are likely to get relegated. Marcelo played with the Lyon reserves for a short period before heading to Bordeaux, making nine appearances for them.
